Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

（吉隆坡2日讯）新型冠状病毒疫情期间，企业所进行的公益筹款委实不易，因而化整为零，通过众筹为机构筹款，以一人或一间公司定期捐出小笔款项，为所需机构筹款。   疫情限制了企业举行公开的实体活动，包括筹款活动等，不过，坊间有本地企业转换履行社会企业责任的形式，继续推动乐善好施的义举，不仅让疫情底下的弱势群体仍能感受人间有情，也让研究机构继续研发疗法与疫苗。   其中以机兴（Khind）控股集团的海星基金会为例，去年通过众筹方式为大马癌症研究机构（CRM）筹款，放眼找到5000名善心人士一年捐献100令吉，以及1000间公司一年捐1000令吉；为CRM筹募一年150万令吉以推动癌症研究。   该集团总执行长兼该基金会主席郑秉吉对马新社说，疫情导致许多人的家庭收入受影响，如果要求公众捐款的确不易，遑论受疫情影响的公司。   他说，上述捐款方式比较容易做到，而且对受惠的CRM而言，这笔固定捐款不仅是有利继续运作，对研究员也是一种认同，以推动他们研究更多的疗法和疫苗。   由于癌症研究不会在短期内做好，所需投入的研究资源相对较多，因此，郑秉吉希望有一天，癌症如感冒一般可以治疗，降低人们的患癌恐惧，包括推动对癌症治疗的醒觉及破解迷思。   他指出，部分到政府医院治疗乳癌的女性来自低收入家庭，受教育较低，由于没有定时做检查，发现时往往是末期，或者知道患癌后，却因为迷信而没有接受治疗。   他说，CRM在巴生一家政府医院成立粉红结中心（Pink Ribbon Centre），协助乳癌妇女安排治疗，以提高病患愿意治疗的比例，从而提高治愈机会。   “如果提高女性的寿命，对家庭会有很大的作用，特别家中有小孩要照顾，如果母亲多活几年，对孩子和家庭来说会有不同。”  

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots i n a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
