Our Story

One Small Action Can Change A Life

One morning, a man walked along a beach covered with starfish washed ashore after a storm.

He saw a young child picking them up, one by one, and gently tossing each back into the sea.

"Why bother?" the man asked. "There are thousands of them — you can't make a difference."

The child smiled, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the waves.

"It made a difference to that one," the child said.

The man paused and then began to help. Others who passed by joined too.

Soon, the beach was filled with people, each throwing starfish back into the sea — together creating a wave of hope.
